Oh, The Metahumanity! (Mar 8-10)

Everyone's favorite Agents of SHIELD came back last week, and so did watchable episodes of Legends of Tomorrow.

Agents of SHIELD: Bouncing Back

@midnight Power Rankings (Tournament Edition)

It was Tournament of Championships week, which means we're going to take a slightly different approach. I'm sure you watched all of them, and if you didn't, you should've. So instead, let's talk about whether or not the results actually aligned with the performances.

Monday's actuallyi worked out. Kinane won, Benson came in second, Nikki Glaser came in third. And as much as I like Glaser, she was a little off her game, and Benson was on point with goofy ridiculousness. So this is the one day the points lined up with my opinion.

Weekly Wrasslin' Wroundup (Mar 7-12)

Speed Bump... I mean, Roadblock was this weekend, and it didn't actually affect anything, but there were a couple good matches. And some good wrestling on the shows, too.

Keeping with the Road to Wrestlemania theme, let's check in on our matchups.

Motherfuckin' Lucha Underground! (Mar 9)

Now, that's what I call a return to form! So much good going on this week.

The Mack convinces Sexy Star to overcome her trauma and face her fears by joining him at ringside for his match with Marty The Moth. This will prove to be a bad idea.

Fenix gets a characer profile. HE was poor but he's a fighter.

Drago confronts Jack Evans, but is attacked by PJ Black with his own nunchucks. What ensues is a two-on-one nunchuck fight in the bathroom, because OF COURSE IT DOES. Drago loses the fight, but is rescued by Aerostar, who has GREEN LED LIGHT UP NUNCHUKS.

Monthly Free Games (Mar 2016)

Not a great month for freebies. But at least there are a few odd niche titles that might appeal to people who may have missed them. And one new indie-style game on the PS4.

Styx: Master of Shadows (Xbox One)

This is the mediocre stealth game that was free on PS4 a few months back.

Gears of War 2 (XBox 360)

I'm pretty sure Gears of War 3 is now the only Gears of War game that hasn't been free at some point. Anyway, it's Gears of War. Brown dudes in brown armor taking cover behind gray waist-high ledges to shoot brown aliens.

@midnight Power Rankings (Feb 29-Mar 3)

The big story out of this week's @midnight is not, as I expected, the Leap Day performances of the late night champions. It is, instead, the story is marcella Arguello, who's first appearance on the show was a goddamn triumph. I hope she comes back soon and often.

1. Marcella Arguello (W)
2. Ron Funches (M)
3. Wil Wheaton (W)
4. Ross Marquand (W)
5. Mike Yard (M)
6. Jordan Klepper (M)
7. Megan Neuringer (Th)
8. Barry Rothbart (Th)
9. Chris D'elia (Th)
10. David Koechner (T)
11. Andrée Vermeulen (T)
12. Hayes MacArthur (T)

Oh, The Metahumanity! (Mar 2-3)

Two shows aired this week. ONe show, I want to see more of, and probably won't get to. Another show I'm going to watch more of, but I'm starting to wonder why.

Agent Carter: "Hollywood Ending"

If you'd asked me in advance how I thought this season of Agent Carter was going to end, I wouldn't have guessed "like that". The plot beats were perfunctory and weird. Dr. Wilkes just regjected all the Zero Matter and was back to normal! The final showdown with Whitney Frost was underwhelming at best.

Weekly Wrasslin' Wroundup (Feb 29-Mar 3)

We're well along the Road to Dallas (Wrestlemania and Takeover), but there's still a lot of fucking around.

Let's keep this in terms of the Wrestlemania matches we know about.

Motherfuckin' Lucha Underground (3/2)

Despite two solid matches this week, this episode ended up less than the sum of its parts.

Mil Muertes wants to fight. Catrina won't let him. Mil Muertes tries to force the issue, but Catrina CAN TELEPORT and is having none of it.

We have a commercial for Famous B, which is being watched by El Dragon Azteca Jr., before Rey Mysterio interrupts him for more training and destiny talk.

King Cuerno gets a character promo for his ladder match with Fenix.

Mil Muertes wants to defend his title against both Pentagon Jr. and Prince Puma next week.

Oh, The metahumanity! (Feb 22-26)

Making pretty good use of pretty mediocre ideas is the theme for both Flash and Arrow this week. Agent Carte continues to be the standout, and it will be sad in a week when it's over. And Flash and Arrow are taking a break for about a month, coming back right when Daredevil Season 2 premieres because fuck my free time.

The Flash: "King Shark"
