Good Eats: Now In Season Sets

That took long enough.

Rachael Ray got season sets. Diners, Drive-Ins, and My Horrible Nineties Hair got season sets. Good Eats had... weird theme compilations. But Alton finally has his due... sort of.

The "bad" news is that they look fairly slim and cheap and, like most of the Food Network DVD's, are only at Target. Season 1 and Season 2 are the only ones available, shelf price $16,99.

I haven't bought them yet, because May brings incredible demands on my disposable income as a gamer, but they're there. Whether they'll continue and cover the whole series over time is anybody's guess.

I like the episode

I like the episode completeness implied by season sets, but not the changing mid-stream. I have so many of the thematic packs - which will now never fit in with the complete version. A state that leaves me seriously disinclined to fork over money for season sets. (But then I did anyway for the Muppet show, so…)
